The V19R was the boat that cemented Haines Hunter’s reputation in the boating industry back in the 70’s, and now given the number of orders placed over past days, (after the 600R was officially unveiled at the Melbourne Boat Show), it's obvious Haines Hunter has again researched the market well, and delivered upon its findings.

Access to and egress from boats of this size, especially from beaches with deep drop off's, can sometimes be a rather wet experience as those features which make the boats so appealing to the offshore fisherman, like high freeboard, can make it difficult to climb over the bow or sides.

With such a sizable boat the stern boarding points can often be in deep water, which is what makes Haines Hunter's option of a lift-out side panel, allowing access through the side of the boat very appealing, especially for families.. and it certainly won't be missed by the fisherman dragging a large catch on board!

Another appealing feature, particularly for the family boater, is the very sizable cabin area, think 600 Classic only lower in profile.

The 600R offers a long list of advantages over its predecessor (V19R) including a softer, drier ride, more cockpit space and sleek modern lines including a curved glass windscreen.The 600R boasts an even heavier glass lay-up than the V19R, backed up by Haines Hunter’s seven year structural warranty.

Also on board are all stainless steel fittings and heavy duty stainless steel bow rails, live bait tank, inbuilt rear lounge and a huge dash area will easily accommodate larger electronics like your fish finder and GPS .

The 600R is the ultimate runabout boat, and at 600 metres is also be the largest on the market. Owners will have the option of equipping it with either a single or twin engine and a side door, and fishability is maximised with a huge cockpit and extended freeboard.

The 600R will be marketed to both the domestic and commercial markets with the added option of being built to survey (commercial operation) standards.
