Now marketing nationally...

LeisureCat's are to the Australian west coast what NoosaCat is to the east coast, well known, and their popularity over their and internationally has meant they haven't really had to advertise. The downside is many on the east coast may not have heard of this fantastic Australian made product.

The LeisureCat range are designed as high-speed planing catamarans capable of delivering a comfortable and stable ride in adverse weather conditions. The hull shape is totally innovative, coupling a full-length wavebreaker and reverse chine planing strakes, to deliver a catamaran that carries an exceptional payload, is easily driven, and provides a safe and stable ride in all conditions.

Aesthetically, since its inception the catamaran has been prettyhard done by, and the design had not really changed since 1971. Identifying this LeisureCat set about improving all aspects of catamaran design, and they've taken the look, interior design and overall finish of their range into the 21st Century, which now feature smoother flowing lines instead of the old utilitarian and boxier look, improved dash and instrument layout and the inclusion in many models of realistic sleeping accommodation, user-friendly cockpit layouts.

Most importantly LeisureCat have made significant improvements in the area of hull design and performance. Catamaran's have been, and some brands continue to be, notorious for hull slapping, 'rolling out' in a turn, needing to be overpowered to perform, and wet boats. Some catamarans even featuring and undesirable fine vacuum mist which expels from the tunnel and is sucked back into the boat!

LeisureCat have spent many years making changes to the standard symmetrical hull design in order to solve these problems and improve the performance of their craft dramatically.

LeisureCat are now in the process of establishing a dealer network on the east coast, one of which will be located at the Gold Coast marine Precinct at Coomera.
